Aromatic Cheese Steamed Bread in the Microwave
- 60 ml Milk
- 1 slice Sliced cheese
- 1 Egg
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 5 tbsp Plain white flour
- 1/2 tsp Baking powder
- 1 dash Parmesan cheese (optional)
- If you use a microwave-safe soup bowl or Ziploc bag, you can use it for both mixing and microwaving, so it's easy.
- Heat the milk in the microwave for 30-50 seconds, add the sliced cheese, and melt.
- Once Step 2 has cooled, add the egg and mix.
- If you add the egg when Step 2 is still hot, it will scramble, so be sure to let the mixture cool!
- Mix the sugar into Step 3, then add the remaining ingredients and mix it up with chopsticks until no lumps remain.
- Optional: Sprinkle some Parmesan cheese into the mixture to make it even more aromatic!
- Microwave at 600 W for 2:30.
- It's ready when a chopstick inserted into the center comes out clean.
