Aromatic Cheese Steamed Bread in the Microwave

  1. If you use a microwave-safe soup bowl or Ziploc bag, you can use it for both mixing and microwaving, so it's easy.
  2. Heat the milk in the microwave for 30-50 seconds, add the sliced cheese, and melt.
  3. Once Step 2 has cooled, add the egg and mix.
  4. If you add the egg when Step 2 is still hot, it will scramble, so be sure to let the mixture cool!
  5. Mix the sugar into Step 3, then add the remaining ingredients and mix it up with chopsticks until no lumps remain.
  6. Optional: Sprinkle some Parmesan cheese into the mixture to make it even more aromatic!
  7. Microwave at 600 W for 2:30.
  8. It's ready when a chopstick inserted into the center comes out clean.
