Easy Shiratamako Pao de Queijo (Cheese Buns)

  1. Mix the salt into the shiratamako, then mix in the milk a little at a time.
  2. Add the egg yolk and mix.
  3. Finally, add the grated cheese and mix well.
  4. You have to use some elbow grease here.
  5. Bring the dough together, then wrap the mixing bowl with plastic wrap and chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  6. Roll balls of dough from the chilled dough and bake in an oven preheated to 180C for 20-25 minutes.
