Sharon's Saucy Shrimp #Ragu
- 1 tablespoon pine nuts, toasted
- 14 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 1 lb spaghetti
- 14 cup seasoned flour
- 2 lbs shrimp, shelled and deveined
- 1 (16 ounce) jar Ragu Pasta Sauce (Old World Style Sauce)
- 1 teaspoon cilantro
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Bring pot of water to a boil.
- Add salt to water.
- Add spaghetti and cook al dente.
- about twelve minutes.
- Heat olive oil in saute' pan over medium heat.
- Add pine nuts and toast until lightly brown, about 5 minutes.
- Take out pine nuts onto a paper towel to dry.
- Dridge shrimp in flour.
- Add shrimp to saute pan.
- Add extra oil if needed.
- Cook 5-10 minutes until shrimp are opaque.
- Remove shrimp.
- Add Ragu Old World Style Sauce.
- red pepper flakes, and cilantro to pan.
- When bubbling, add shrimp, red pepper flakes, and cilantro to the sauce.
- Heat through.
- Serve with cooked spaghetti.
- Garnish with pine nuts.
