Muesli

  1. Mix the oats, dried fruit, and wheat bran with enough milk to cover the oats.
  2. Any dried fruit will work just fine.
  3. I love dried cherries in muesli.
  4. My husband uses soy milk rather than cows milk.
  5. Soak the mixture for at least 30 minutes but preferably overnight.
  6. In the morning, drain off the milk.
  7. Scoop enough muesli in a bowl for one serving.
  8. Top with walnuts, yogurt, and any fresh fruit.
  9. Strawberries and peaches are also very yummy in muesli.
  10. Sometimes I top it with a dash of cinnamon and a drizzle of honey.
  11. All of these measurements are approximate.
  12. Use your judgment.
  13. I like to make enough for about 3 days so it is relatively fresh when I eat it.
