Four Flavored Pound Cake
- 1 cup butter
- 12 cup shortening
- 3 cups sugar
- 5 large eggs (well-beaten)
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sweet milk
- 12 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon rum flavoring
- 1 teaspoon lemon flavoring
- 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
- 1 12 teaspoons almond flavoring
- Cream butter, shortening, and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs to mixture.
- Sift all-purpose flour and baking powder.
- Add to creamed mixture while alternating with sweet milk.
- Add rum, lemon, almond, and vanilla flavoring to mixture.
- Place mixture in well-greased 10-in.
- tube pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until done (may take a little longer).
