Alfredo Style Sauce Recipe
- 2 c. Nonfat cottage cheese
- 3 Tbsp. Freshly grated Parmesan Cheese
- 2 Tbsp. Butter Buds=AE powdered Butter substitute -- or possibly Othe=
- 1/2 C. evaporated skim lowfat milk 1/2 tsp.
- chicken bouillon 1/2 tsp.
- dry basil 1/4 tsp.
- freshly grnd black pepper cayenne - to taste
- Combine all ingredients in container of an electric blender; process till smooth, stopping once to scrape down sides.
- Pour into a small saucepan; cook sauce over low heat, stirring constantly, till thoroughly heated.
- NOTE: The above nutrition information was based on this recipe making 6 servings, but in reality normal humans will not be able to get more than 4 main-course servings out of this at best.
