Mom's Apple Crisp

  1. Preheat oven to 425F.
  2. Mix dry ingredients together.
  3. Add butter and cut with a pastry knife until crumbly.
  4. Place apples in the bottom of a casserole dish.
  5. Add flour and sugar mixture to the top.
  6. Firmly press flour and sugar mixture down.
  7. Bake in oven for 45 minutes or until bubbly and browned.
  8. Serve hot with or without vanilla ice cream.
