Roast Beef In Its Own Gravy
- 1 teaspoon Vegetable Oil
- 3 pounds Chuck Roast
- 2 teaspoons Minced Garlic
- 18 teaspoons Seasoned Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1 can (10 Oz. Size) Cream Of Celery Soup
- 1 can Golden Mushroom Soup, 10 Ounce Can
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
- Place oil in skillet over high heat.
- Rub roast on all sides with garlic, salt and pepper.
- Place roast in skillet to sear, 2-3 minutes.
- Flip roast over and sear another 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- In a separate bowl, combine soups.
- Spread about 2 Tablespoons of soup mixture in bottom of a 9x13 baking dish, (a smaller baking dish is fine too).
- Place roast in baking dish.
- Pour remaining soup mixture over roast.
- Cover and bake for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until internal temperature reaches 170 degrees.
- Remove from oven and let rest for 8-10 minutes.
- Roast should be fork tender.
- Uncover and serve.
