Pear Cakes

  1. Heat oven to 400F Lightly butter and flour nine 4-inch tart pans.
  2. Combine the first four ingredients in a medium bowl and set aside.
  3. Beat the butter and sugar, using a mixer on high speed, until light and fluffy.
  4. Add spices, egg, and vanilla; mix to combine.
  5. Reduce speed to low, add the flour mixture and sour cream.
  6. Stir in the pears.
  7. Pour 1/3 cup batter into each mold, top with a pear slice; bake for 20 minutes and cool.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
