Apple And Raspberry Jelly Recipe

  1. Pour juices into a 6-8 qt kettle.
  2. Measure sugar into a separate bowl.
  3. Add in the Sure-Jell and butter to juices.
  4. Bring mix to a full rolling boil over high heat, stirring constantly.
  5. Quickly stir sugar into juices and bring the mix back to a full rolling boil-boil for 1 minute while stirring constantly.
  6. Mix will rise to within 2 inches of the top of the pan so make sure you stir continuosly.
  7. Remove from the heat and skim off foam with a spoon.
  8. Fill jars to 1/8th inch from top.
  9. Wipe jar rims then cover with flat lids.
  10. Screw lids on tightly.
  11. Use a water bath to finish sealing.
