Baked Onion Rings

  1. Slice the onion into thin rings.
  2. Place all rings in a baking dish or large bowl.
  3. Pour the buttermilk over the rings.
  4. Cover, and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours.
  5. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Mix together the breadcrumbs, panko and corn flakes in a shallow plate or bowl.
  6. Dip each soaked ring into the crumb mixture and coat well.
  7. Place each coated ring onto a greased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake for 1012 minutes or until golden brown!
