Green beans casserole
- 400 grams green beans
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 small onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 cup chopped tomatos
- 1/2 tbsp sea salt
- 1 large potato
- Wash and trim green beans.
- Peel and cut the onion in cubes.Heat tye oil in a pan, add the onion cubes and cook until transparent.
- Add the beans and stir well until the grean beans are coated eith the oil.Add the salt, the chopped tomatos and the sliced garlic clove.Stir well and add 2 cups of water.Cook for 20 minutes or until the beans are tender and the sauce is thick.
- You can optionally add a large potato cut in cubes after it's peeled before adding the water.
