Twinkie Cake
- 1 (18 1/4 ounce) package yellow cake mix
- egg, oil, water, etc for the cake mix
- 5 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup milk
- 12 cup crisco vegetable shortening
- 12 cup margarine
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup sugar
- Bake the cake according to package directions in a greased and floured 9x13 pan.
- Cool completely.
- Cut in half lengthwise.
- Cook flour and milk, bringing to a boil until thick.
- Cool completely!
- In a bowl, add the rest of the ingredients to the milk.
- MIx on high for 8 minutes.
- Put bottom half of cake back in the pan and spread filling over it.
- Top with the other half of the cake.
- Keep refrigerated.
