The Secret Red Velvet Cake

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Beat 2 oz.
  3. cream cheese and sour cream in large bowl with mixer until blended.
  4. Add egg whites and cake mix; mix well.
  5. Pour into 2 (9-inch) round pans sprayed with cooking spray.
  6. Bake 30 min.
  7. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  8. Cool 10 min.
  9. ; remove from pans.
  10. Cool completely.
  11. Meanwhile, beat remaining cream cheese, butter, vanilla and sugar with mixer until well blended.
  12. Refrigerate.
  13. Fill and frost cake layers with frosting.
