Healthier Apple Crisp
- 6 medium apples, peeled and diced
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 12 lemon, juice of
- 3 teaspoons cornstarch
- 14 cup sugar
- 1 12 cups quick oats
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 12 cup whole wheat flour
- 12 cup light brown sugar (not packed)
- 14 teaspoon baking powder
- 14 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 14 cup butter, melted
- 14 cup applesauce
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Spray a 9 x 13 glass baking dish with cooking spray.
- Combine first five ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
- Pour filling into prepared baking dish.
- Mix together remaining dry ingredients.
- In a separate bowl, combine remaining wet topping ingredients.
- Slowly fold wet ingredients into dry.
- Pour topping over filling.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
