Plum Good Duck Recipe
- 1 onion
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 (17 ounce.) can purple plums, purred
- 1 (6 ounce.) can frzn lemonaid, thawed
- 1/3 c. chili sauce
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 2 teaspoon mustard
- Onion salt and garlic salt to taste
- 4 ducks
- 4 orange slices
- Saute/fry onion in butter in saucepan till tender.
- Add in next 4 ingredients and seasonings.
- Simmer for 15 min, stirring frequently.
- Wash ducks; pat dry inside and out.
- Place on rack in baking pan; cover with orange slices.
- Bake, covered at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hrs.
- Spoon half of sauce over ducks.
- Bake for 1 1/2 hrs longer or possibly till tender.
- Serve with remaining sauce.
