BBQ Chicken on the Grill
- 4 -5 lbs whole chickens (cut into halves or spatchcocked)
- 1 12 cups barbecue sauce
- Preheat grill to 350F.
- Place chicken on grill over indirect heat; cook, turning frequently until nearly done (approximately 35 minutes).
- During the last 15 minutes, baste each side with BBQ sauce as you turn the meat.
- Continue cooking until done (until the juices run clear or the breast meat reads 165F on a meat thermometer).
