Moscow Mule
- 2 ounces Smirnoff vodka
- 1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
- 4 1/2 ounces Spicy Ginger Beer (page 156) or Fever-Tree ginger beer
- 1 lime wheel, for garnish
- Pour the vodka and juice into a Collins glass filled with large cold ice cubes.
- Fill with ginger beer.
- Stir gently.
- Drop in the lime wheel.
- Dominant Flavors: ginger
- Body: crisp, light
- Dryness: dry to medium
- Complexity: low, straightforward ginger flavor
- Accentuating or Contrasting Flavors: lime juice brings balance
- Finish: short with spicy overtones
- Glass: Collins
