Glazed Popcorn Recipe
- 4 quarts. popped corn
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. Karo corn syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- In heavy saucepan stir together brown sugar, butter, Karo corn syrup and salt.
- Stirring constantly, bring to boil over medium heat.
- Without stirring boil 5 min.
- Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
- Then stir in baking soda.
- pour syrup mix over popcorn, stir to coat well.
- Bake in 250 degree oven, stirring occasionally, 1 hour.
- Remove from oven and cold.
