Tart-Shell Dough
- 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. confectioners sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. cold unsalted butter
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1 tbsp. cold water
- In a food processor, pulse flour, sugar, and salt to mix.
- Add butter and pulse until mixture resembles small peas.
- With the machine running, add yolk mixture through feed tube; process until dough forms a ball.
- Proceed with dough according to either our Peach Raspberry Tartlets recipe or our Double-Plum Almond Tart recipe.
