Icy Mexican Chocolate Smoothie
- 1 cup (225 ml) milk
- 1 cup (225 ml) plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) to 2 tbsp (30 ml) light brown sugar packed
- 1/2 tsp (2 ml) almond extract
- 1/2 tsp (2 ml) vanilla
- 1/4 tsp (1 ml) cinnamon
- 1 small banana
- Combine the milk, yogurt, cocoa, 1 tbsp (15 ml) brown sugar, almond, vanilla and cinnamon in blender and puree til smooth.
- Add sliced banana and blend again til combine.
- Add the rest of the brown sugar.
- Pour into glass and really enjoy.
