Apple Nut Ring Recipe
- 2 pkt Refrigerated buttermilk Biscuits
- 3/4 c. Sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Cinnamon
- 1/4 c. Butter or possibly margarine -- Melted
- 2 med Apples
- 1/3 c. Walnuts -- minced
- 1/4 c. Raisins
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Separate biscuits into 20 pcs.
- Combine sugar and cinnamon.
- Dip biscuits into melted butter, then roll in sugar mix.
- Arrange biscuits in Deep Dish Baker.
- Peel, core and slice apples into thin slices using the Apple Peeler/ Corer/Slicer.
- Cut slices in half.
- Place an apple slice between each biscuit and around outer edge of Deep Dish Baker.
- Chop nuts with Food Chopper.
- Mix nuts and raisins with remaining sugar mix and sprinkle over apples.
- Bake 25-30 min or possibly un til golden.
