Meat or Vegitarian Fried Rice

  1. Have pre-cooked steamed rice, ready to place in pan.
  2. Pre-heat wok our large skillet to medium to high heat.
  3. Add oil while pre-heating pan.
  4. when oil is hot add minced garlic, onion's, carrots, pea's, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts to pan.
  5. cok until garlic and onion's are translucent our golden brown, approximatly 3 to 4 minutes at the most.
  6. Usually only takes about 3 minutes.
  7. Add rice , (make sure you have drained all liquids off.)
  8. Stir rice the while time you have out on the flames, until rice starts to turn slightly brown.
  9. Start adding the seasonings at this time: soy sauce hoisin sauce oyster sauce salt pepper.
  10. Add desired meat you are using for this meal.
  11. If veftarian then delete tje meat and add tofu as instructed on the ingredients for meat.
  12. After cooking the meat/tofu for 10 to 12 mon (chicken and shrimp may take a little longer) add broccoli a at this time, cook until slightly tender but still has some crispness to it.
  13. Approximatly 5to10 minutes.
  14. At this time if you want to add bok choy, add now stir all ingredient's together to make sure all flavor's are combined.
  15. Then serve hot
