Mom's Mezetta

  1. Heat in cooker: beef, pepper and onion.
  2. Cook until slightly brown.
  3. (drain if using beef with a higher fat)
  4. Add chili powder,garlic salt and salt and pepper.
  5. Sprinkle dry noodle (uncooked) over top.
  6. Add water, tomato and mushroom soup over meat mixture without stirring.
  7. Cover.
  8. When steaming hot, turn down heat and simmer 25 minutes
  9. Spread cheese soup on top and cook 5 more minutes
  10. This is an easy layered dish.
  11. Can be made in crock pot.
