Kelfling's Cabbage Stir Fry
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 12 cups onions, diced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 12 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 3 tablespoons Braggs liquid aminos or 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 12 teaspoons Chinese five spice powder
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon Mrs. Dash table blend seasoning
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes
- 3 12 cups cabbage, finely chopped
- 1 carrot, thinly sliced
- 1 12 cups broccoli florets (optional)
- 14 cup peanuts or 14 cup cashews, coarsely chopped
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 12 cup cooked brown rice (optional)
- Heat oil on medium in a large frying pan and saute the onions, garlic and sesame seeds for 5-7 minutes.
- Add the Bragg's/soy sauce and spices.
- Stir well and cook for a minute.
- Note: I used Mrs.
- Dash Table Blend which is an all-purpose seasoning.
- If you don't have Mrs.
- Dash then I would add a bit of black pepper instead.
- The red pepper flakes are hot so just use a tiny bit or if you don't have them add a little hot sauce.
- Add the cabbage and carrot, stir and cover.
- Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the broccoli if you're putting it inches Stir, cover and cook 5 more minutes.
- Add the nuts, green onions, and rice.
- Stir, cover and cook 5 more minutes.
