Pork Chops With Red Cabbage in Red Wine Sauce

  1. In a large saute pan render the diced bacon, then set it aside on paper towel, keep bacon fat in pan, add alittle olive oil.
  2. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper, then add them to the pan.
  3. cook on both sides about 5 minute med high heat, then set aside.
  4. Add alittle more olive oil to pan then add the cabbage that you have simply sliced up, let it wilt down and softened, add bacon, onions, minced garlic 1 tbs of butter.
  5. Add wine, turn heat down to med lo let simmer till alchol is cooked out then add pork chop and the rest of the butter alittle at a time.
  6. till it thickens , serve hot.
