Make-Ahead Bolognese Pasta Bake
- 2 cups small pasta shells, uncooked
- 1 lb. (450 g) extra-lean ground beef King Sooper's 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onions Safeway 1 lb For $1.49 thru 02/09
- 1 carrot, shredded (about 1 cup)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups Classico di Napoli Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce
- 1/4 cups Philadelphia Cream Cheese Product
- 1-1/3 cups Cracker Barrel Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, divided
- 2 Tbsp. Kraft 100% Parmesan Shredded Cheese
- Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.
- Meanwhile, brown meat with onions, carrots and garlic in large skillet on medium heat.
- Stir in pasta sauce; cook 3 to 5 min.
- or until heated through, stirring frequently.
- Add cream cheese product; cook and stir 2 to 3 min.
- or until completely melted.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in 2/3 cup mozzarella.
- Drain pasta.
- Add to meat mixture; mix well.
- Spoon into 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; top with remaining cheeses.
- Wrap tightly.
- Freeze up to 1 month.
- Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Unwrap casserole when ready to serve; cover with foil.
- Bake 1 hour or until heated through, uncovering for the last 10 min.
