Corned Beef Scalloped Potatoes

  1. Preheat oven to 375F
  2. Mince garlic and sautee with butter in sauce pot
  3. Gradually add in flour mixing well
  4. Gradually add in all the milk into the flour/garlic/butter mix
  5. On medium heat, stirring constantly (around 8 minutes), until it comes to a slow boil.
  6. Once mixture becomes thicker and has come to a boil, remove from heat
  7. In a greased casserole pan, layer sliced, potatoes in a layer.
  8. Add diced onions layer and chunks of corned beef.
  9. Salt and pepper.
  10. Pour half of the milk mixture over the layer.
  11. Repeat for a second layer
  12. You can add shredded marble cheese at this time if you like.
  13. Bake in over, covered, for an hour then uncovered for a half hour.
