German Apple Pancake

  1. Combine eggs, flour, salt and 1/2 cup milk; beat until smooth.
  2. Heat a 10 inch oven proof, non-stick skillet at 450F for 5 minutes or until hot.
  3. Add 1 tbls.
  4. butter, stirring to coat skiller; pour on batter.
  5. Bake at 450F for 10 minutes.
  6. Reduce heat to 350F and bake an additional 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Combine sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan; stir in 12/2 cup milk and 1/4 cup melted butter.
  8. Cook over medium heat until thickened.
  9. Reduce heat; add apples, and cook until tender.
  10. Spoon hlf of mixture onto pancake.
  11. Cut into wedges, and serve with remaining apple mixture.
