Bread Pudding 1 Recipe
- 1/4 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp grnd cloves
- 1 tsp grnd allspice
- 1 tsp freshly grnd nutmeg
- 2 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. minced pecans
- 3 c. lowfat milk
- 1 c. heavy cream
- 1 c. melted butter
- 1/2 c. molasses
- 4 x Large eggs, beaten
- 1 c. plumped raisins
- 1 Tbsp. pure vanilla extract
- 5 c. cubed stale French bread, (5 to 6) Sweet cream
- Preheat oven to 375 F.
- In a large bowl, mix together the first six ingredients.
- In a separate bowl, stir together the remaining ingredients, except the sweet cream.
- Add in the lowfat milk mix to the dry mix and stir till well combined.
- Pour the mix into a 2 1/2- to 3-qt casserole dish and bake for 35 to 45 min.
- Remove and let stand for 5 min.
- Serve hot with the sweet cream.
