Pope Pie Recipe
- 8 ounce. cream cheese
- 3 hard boiled Large eggs
- 4 tbsp. butter
- 1 cabbage, sliced
- 2 c. fresh mushrooms
- 1 med. onion
- 1 teaspoon marjoram
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon tarragon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 pie crusts
- Pre-cook bottom pie crust; cold.
- Soften and proportionately spread with cream cheese.
- Slice Large eggs and spread on cream cheese.
- Saute/fry with butter the cabbage, onions, mushrooms, and herbs.
- Add in mix to pie and cover with top crust.
- Bake at 350 degrees till top browns.
