Oven Beef Stew
- 2 lbs beef stew meat
- 4 -5 medium potatoes, cubed
- 6 carrots, 1 inch pieces
- 1 cup celery, 1 inch pieces
- 1 (32 ounce) can tomatoes with juice
- 1 package frozen peas
- 1 slice bread, cubed
- 4 medium onions, cut in chunks
- 4 tablespoons tapioca
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- salt and pepper
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 13 cup wine (or water)
- Layer all ingredients in a large pot and cover.
- Bake at 250 degrees for 5 to 6 hours.
