Chocolate Mint Mousse Pie Recipe
- 6 tbsp. sugar, divided
- 2 tbsp. plus 2 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2/3 of 10 ounce. pkg. (1 c.) Nestles Toll House Mint chocolate morsels
- 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 c. heavy cream
- One 9 inch prepared graham cracker crust
- In medium heavy gauge saucepan, combine 1/4 c. sugar, cornstarch and morsels.
- Gradually stir in lowfat milk.
- Cook, stirring constantly over medium heat till mix boils.
- Boil 1 minute; remove from heat.
- Transfer to large bowl; cover surface of chocolate mix with plastic wrap.
- Cold to room temperature.
- In small bowl, combine heavy cream with remaining 2 Tbsp.
- sugar; beat till stiff.
- Fold into chocolate mix.
- Spoon into prepared pie crust.
- Refrigeratetill hard, about 2 to 3 hrs.
- Makes one 9 inch pie.
