Ultimate Brown Rice
- 1 cup dry long grain brown rice
- 2 cups water or 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon oil or 1 tablespoon butter
- 34 teaspoon salt
- Combine rice, salt and oil in a 4 quart pressure cooker.
- Bring water or broth to a boil in seperate pan.
- Add to rice mixture and stir well.
- Lock lid in place and bring up to pressure.
- Time cooking at this point for 18 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let steam in cooker for an addtional 5 minutes.
- Use quick release method under cold water.
- Remove lid, fluff rice with fork and enjoy!
