Bird's Nests Recipe

• 5 ounce Chow mein noodles
• 1 c. Peanuts, finely minced
• 12 ounce Butterscotch chips
• 60 x Jellybeans

1. We usually do these around Easter break so he can take them to school for treats.
2. You can substitute other candies for the jellybeans.
3. Heat chips.
4. Add in noodles & minced peanuts & stir till thoroughly coated.
5. Drop onto wax paper into 15 globs.
6. Form into a nest.
7. Push 4 - 5 jelly beans slightly into nest.
8. Refrigeratecandy till hardened.
9. At Easter time, use a marshmallow peep in the nest instead of the jelly beans.
10. If not making nests, drop candy by smaller spoonfuls.
11. Makes about30 candies.
12. NOTES : Chocolate chips can be substituted.
