Gyro Burgers

  1. combine 1 container of yogurt with ranch dressing mix.
  2. remove half of the mixture to another bowl.
  3. Into one of the bowls, add the remaining container of yougurt and diced cucumber; mix well.
  4. cover and refrigerate.
  5. mix the ground beef with the onion and remaining yogurt mixture; shape into 6 patties.
  6. grill on medium heat or on grill pan for 7 minutes each side, turning only once.
  7. cut pita in half.
  8. Open the pocket gently, and put inside one burger, a slice of tomato, some lettuce and spoon in the refrigerated cucumber-yogurt sauce.
