Pecan Sensation Fruit Cake Recipe

• 3/4 c. sifted flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
• 1 pound pecans
• 1 c. well - liquid removed maraschino cherries
• 3/4 c. sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 pkg. dates, cut up
• 3 Large eggs, beaten
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

1. Put flour, sugar, baking pwdr and salt in sifter.
2. Combine dates, cherries and nuts in a large bowl.
3. Sift dry mix over this and stir into mix.
4. Combine Large eggs and vanilla and stir into mix.
5. Bake in loaf pan at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 40 min.
6. Check after 1 hour and 10 min.
