Creamiest Ever Mac 'n Cheese
- 8 ounces cavatappi pasta
- 14 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 12 cups milk
- 10 34 ounces condensed cheddar cheese soup
- 12 cup hot water
- 12 ounces shredded cheddar cheese (3 cups)
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
- Meanwhile, coat 2-quart baking dish with cooking spray.
- Combine breadcrumbs and butter; reserve.
- In large pot, whisk together milk, soup and hot water.
- Over medium-high heat, bring to boil, stirring often.
- Reduce heat to medium; stir in cheese and pepper.
- Cook, stirring, until cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat; stir in pasta.
- Transfer to baking dish.
- Sprinkle with breadcrumb mixture.
- Bake until golden and bubbly, 20-25 minutes.
- Just before serving, sprinkle with parsley.
