Marilyn's Stuffing

  1. Combine raisins and apple juice, let stand for 2 hours.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; add onion and garlic and saute 5 minutes or until tender.
  3. Add sausage, and cook, stirring until it crumbles and is no longer pink; drain.
  4. Stir in apples and celery and cook, stirring occasionally (for about 10 minutes).
  5. Transfer mixture to a large bowl.
  6. Stir in raisin mixture, croutons, and remaining ingredients until moistened.
  7. Spoon into lightly greased 13X9 baking dish.
  8. Bake covered at 350 degrees.
