South Carolina Eggnog

  1. To make a gallon of egg nog, beat the yolks for 15 minutes then add the sugar and beat until they rise and are thick.
  2. The great secret of having it nice is to beat the yolks thick.
  3. Whip the whites to a stiff froth, put half a pint of brandy in the yolks and sugar and when well mixed, stir the whites slowly in as well.
  4. Have milk in a glass pitcher, to be added if preferred.
