Teriyaki Sesame Shrimp
- 3 Tablespoons Teriyaki Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Pure Honey
- 18 teaspoons Ground Ginger
- 1 teaspoon Cracked Black Pepper
- 1/4 cups Sesame Seeds, Lightly Toasted
- 8 ounces, weight Large Shrimp, Deveined, Tails Removed
- Preheat a grill or griddle pan over medium heat and coat with cooking spray.
- In a bowl, add teriyaki sauce, ginger, honey, and black pepper.
- Whisk well and set aside.
- In a small frying pan over low heat, lightly toast sesame seeds.
- Transfer to a plate.
- On a clean work surface, lay fresh shrimp on its side.
- Using a sharp knife, butterfly carefully by cutting through the center, halfway through, starting at the larger end 3/4 the way down near end.
- Open up the shrimp.
- Place butterflied shrimp in the teriyaki marinade for a few minutes.
- Coat each shrimp in sesame seeds and place on grill/griddle pan.
- Cook on medium high 4 minutes each side.
- Serve over rice.
- These are a favorite!

- Note: Butterflying these shrimp eliminates the need to skewer them for grilling, cooking them much faster and tastier.
