Pesto Parsley Sauce for Pasta
- 1 cup fresh parsley, washed and dried
- 1 cup fresh basil, washed, dried
- 3 garlic cloves, peeled
- 14 cup olive oil
- 13 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 14 cup pine nuts
- salt and pepper
- cooked small shell pasta, for 4
- place parsley, basil in food processor and blend.
- add garlic and blend again.
- add olive oil and cheese.
- season with salt and pepper.
- process until mixture is well blended.
- mix sauce with hot pasta.
- sprinkle with pin nuts.
- serve while hot.
