Made with Leftovers - Cheese, Shiso Leaves and Carrot Toast
- 1 slice Sliced bread
- 3 cm Carrot
- 4 leaves Shiso leaves
- 1 enough to spread on the bread Mayonnaise
- 1 slice plus Cheese
- Julienne the shiso leaves and carrot.
- Spread mayonnaise on the bread.
- Top with the carrot and shiso leaves.
- Cover the carrot and shiso with cheese, and toast.
- The carrot will steam-bake if it's fully covered with cheese.
- The result is delicious toast with gooey shiso cheese, sweet carrot and the subtle flavour of mayonnaise.
