Pork Spinach Pie Recipe
- 1 (9") deep dish frzn pie shell
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Monterey Jack or possibly Swiss cheese (6 ounce.)
- 1/2 pound pork sausage, cooked & liquid removed
- 1/2 c. herb seasoned stuffing mix
- 1/2 of 10 ounce. pkg. frzn minced spinach, thawed & well liquid removed
- 3 beaten Large eggs
- 1 1/2 c. light cream or possibly lowfat milk
- Place frzn pie shell on baking sheet; do not prick.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 5 min.
- Remove from oven and reduce temperature to 325 degrees.
- Sprinkle cheese in bottom of pie shell; set aside.
- Combine sausage, stuffing mix and spinach; spoon over cheese.
- Combine Large eggs and light cream; pour over sausage mix.
- Bake, uncovered at 325 degrees for 50 to 55 min or possibly till knife inserted near center comes out clean.
- Let stand 10 min before serving.
- Makes 6 servings.
