Poached Chicken and Vegetables

  1. Place chicken in saucepan with 500ml of water and the bouillion powder.
  2. Add sliced leek and carrots and bring to a boil.
  3. Lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the peas and then return to a boil.
  5. Simmer for 2 minutes or until the chicken is thorougly cooked.
  6. Add the cornstarch mixture and stir thoroughly.
  7. Cook for a few seconds longer until liquid has thickened.
  8. Add chopped parsley and serve immediately.
