Arka's Chilli Sausages

  1. Thaw the sausages (if using frozen food).
  2. Dice the sausages evenly.
  3. Chop the capsicum and tomatoes into desirable sized pieces.
  4. Grate the onions, garlic and ginger into a coarse paste.
  5. Heat the frying pan to remove moisture.
  6. Add 2 tablespoons of oil and 2 teaspoons of salt to the pan.
  7. Add the sausages and saute till it turns light brown.
  8. Remove the sausages from the pan and set them aside.
  9. Let the oil remain in the pan.
  10. Add 1 tablespoon of oil (not required if you want to use less oil) and the onion, garlic and ginger paste to the pan.
  11. Add the red chilli powder and dried coriander powder to the pan.
  12. Cover the pan with a lid.
  13. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
  14. Stir occasionally.
  15. Add salt if necessary.
  16. Add the sausages to the pan.
  17. Cover, cook for 7-8 minutes.
  18. Stir occasionally.
  19. Add the chopped capsicum and tomatoes.
  20. Rip the green chilles down the length and add to the pan.
  21. Add the soya sauce for colour and taste.
  22. Cook for another 2 minutes and stir to evenly mix the soya sauce.
  23. Remove pan from stove and serve!
