Peach Sangria

  1. You will also need: sangria pitcher and serving glasses.
  2. Place the sliced peaches into the bottom of the sangria pitcher.
  3. Set the pitcher aside.
  4. In a small saucepan, bring 1/4 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of water to a boil.
  5. Stir and heat until the sugar dissolves completely.
  6. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  7. This is your simple syrup.
  8. Pour the cooled simple syrup, peach liqueur and white wine over the peaches.
  9. Stir.
  10. Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and let it sit for at least 2 hours, up to overnight.
  11. The ginger ale will lose its carbonation quickly in the pitcher, but will still add a great flavor.
  12. If youd like a more sparkling sangria, top the glasses off with ginger ale rather than adding it into the pitcher.
  13. When ready to serve fill each glass half full with sangria and top off with ginger ale.
  14. This will make the final beverage more carbonated and sparkling.
