Apple Praline Pie

  1. pre-heat oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. combine apples and liqueur, coat well.
  3. add brown sugar, pecans, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg; toss gently to fully coat.
  4. put one pie crust on the pie plate;spoon in apples and dot with butter and brush with egg white.
  5. roll remaining crust on floured surface and cut into 11-inch circle.
  6. cut into 1/2-inch strips and arrange in a lattice pattern.
  7. crimp edges to seal crusts and brush with remaining egg white.
  8. Bake 10 minutes then reduce heat to 350-f and bake for another 50 minutes.
  9. cool on a rack and serve warm.
