The Ultimate Stuffing!
- 1 box Chicken Stuffing
- 1 can Condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 packages ground sausage(such as Jimmy Deans)
- 1 small onion(chopped)
- 1/4 cup celery(finely chopped)
- 1 dash onion powder
- 1 dash garlic powder
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 dash salt
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Crumble and brown sausage in a skillet on top of stove and drain grease.
- Set aside
- In a large pot prepare boxed stuffing according to directions on package.
- Add crumbled sausage, chopped onions and celery to the prepared stuffing mixture.
- Open can of cream of mushroom soup and add to stuffing.
- Mix well.
- Mixture will be slightly stiff
- At this time you may season the stuffing with the onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper according to your personal preference.
- Mix well.
- Place stuffing mixture into a casserole dish, or square baking dish.
- Smooth stuffing so that the surface is flat.
- Cover and bake in oven for 30 minutes or until top of stuffing is a nice brown.
