Canadian Honey Drops Recipe
- 1 c. Shortening (part butter)
- 1 c. Brown sugar
- 2 x Large eggs
- 1/3 c. Honey
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 3 1/2 c. Flour
- 2 tsp Soda Apricot jam
- Mix shortening, sugar & Large eggs.
- Stir in honey & vanilla.
- Blend together flour & soda; stir in.
- Refrigeratetill hard.
- Heat oven to 350.
- Roll dough in 1 1/4" balls.
- Place on ungreased sheet.
- Bake 10-12 min.
- when slightly cooled, combine in pairs with jam.
